Gospel Recording Artist James Bignon will highlight the 1st Pastoral Anniversary of Jesus Is Lord Ministries (JCIL) in McDonough, GA as they honor their Shepherd, Pastor Sherri S. Davis on Sunday, November 5, 2006. Bignon, one of the country’s most respected and accomplished choir leaders, has been a powerful force in continuing the tradition of gospel music for more than 17 years. He conducted a mini choir workshop at JCIL to prepare for the premier anniversary of one of the BRC’s most active pastors.

Pastor Eric D. Jackson, Sr. founding pastor of the Greater Heights Christian Church, Snellville, GA., another BRC Church Center, will bring the 3:00 p.m. message in celebration of Pastor Davis’ anniversary. Pastor Jackson, who is married to Elder Evette Jackson, heads a multi-cultural, diverse, and Christ- centered church where everyone can feel a part of and take part in a meaningful worship and praise! Dr. Frank Bozeman of Global Word, Montgomery AL, will share the word of God during morning worship service at 10:00 am.

Pastor Davis is striving to do God’s work in the McDonough community. She says, "We are striving to become a saving station for the McDonough area committed to developing relationships that lead to Kingdom building. JCIL Ministries' vision is 'We are living in Christ, fulfilling God’s purposes in preaching God’s Word, teaching others to live for Christ, and reaching the lost for the Second Coming of the Lord!'”

Member Highlight: United Beverage Group

Nusouth beveragesHussein Warmack has always dreamed big. He left a mid-management position with Coca Cola and a hefty salary with traveling privileges and a luxury lifestyle to launch his own beverage company, United Beverage Group.

United Beverage Group launched Nu South and Southern Sippers brands in Atlanta in Summer 2005 targeting the diverse tastes and on-the-go lifestyles of today's youth with exciting beverage flavors and packaging styles. The success of the launch became clear when the first round of production sold out in weeks. The company has also added distribution in Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Michigan to its Georgia distribution network for the spring 2006 re-launch.

The Atlanta-based beverage company offers unique flavors under the brand name "NuSouth," which includes such flavors as Peach Lemonade, Blueberry Lemonade, Mango Lemonade, Regular Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Watermelon Lemonade and Pink Lemonade. Their portfolio of brands also includes Southern Sippers Lemonades, Sodas and Ice Tea.

United Beverage provides businesses with turn-key customized beverage products to give a distinctive look and marketplace advantage at a fraction of the cost of leading beverage manufactures. In addition, United Beverages has launched a unique fundraising program that BRC churches can benefit from.

Fundraisers are an important part of active church life, providing opportunities for each church and their members to strengthen their commitment and contribution to their respective churches as well as providing funds for the church, its groups and programs, and pre-approved charitable causes.

United Beverage Group is located at 1230 Peachtree St NE, Suite 1900, Atlanta, GA 30309. For more information about the fundraising, call 404-942-3636.
