World renowned for his work with Gospel Music Workshops, James Bignon has few equals who possess the combined talents of songwriter, musician, arranger, vocalist, choir director, workshop clinician and transcriber. His ability to lead a mass choir and deliver an inspiring vocal performance is amply demonstrated by his yearly work with the GMWA convention choir.

James’ lead vocal is featured on the “GMWA: 30 Years”, song entitled, “In Time He Will Bring You Out”. Further recordings of his abilities can be heard on Atlanta International Records, “What A Mighty God We Serve” and “Heaven Belongs To You”. Both releases received heavy airplay nationally and there was a great demand for his last effort on Atlanta International Records which was also the title cut, “On The Other Side Of Through”. His previous release “Miracle” on Zhana Records was continued confirmation that God was still guiding the pen of James Bignon and blessing his career which to date includes the seven-year tenure as the Director of the Georgia Mass Choir, Grammy Nominee and numerous Stellar Awards.

For a $25 fee, BRC church choir members can join James Bignon in his workshop. Attendees will perform with Bignon at the BRC Gala to be held April 8 at the Georgia International Convention Center.
